'Straw Man': Guidance on Cooperative Approaches Referred to in Article 6, Paragraph 2 of the Paris Agreement

This "straw man" is intended to catalyse reflection and provide a useful background to discuss the structure, components and options for an Article 6.2 negotiating text. The paper is based on the co-facilitators' informal note from SBSTA 47; party submissions to SBSTA; and discussions during negotiations as well as in informal settings. It was produced as part of an ICTSD project entitled "Informal Dialogue on the Implementaiton of Article 6 of the Paris Agreement."
